Accessibility
Accessibility target: WCAG 2.2 Level AAA.
This website is being built to make information usable by as many people as possible. The current build uses enhanced-contrast text, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus indicators, responsive reflow, readable line lengths, reduced-motion support, descriptive document structure and meaningful alternative text where images convey information.
Colour and contrast
Brand colours are used mainly for backgrounds and decorative accents. Normal text is set in dark colours that are intended to meet or exceed a 7:1 contrast ratio against the light backgrounds where they appear. Large text is designed to meet or exceed 4.5:1. Interactive controls and focus indicators are designed to remain visually distinguishable.
Reading and navigation
Body copy is left aligned, uses generous line spacing and is constrained to a readable line length. Navigation can be operated with a keyboard, and the site includes a skip link so keyboard and screen-reader users can move directly to the main content.
Magnification and display preferences
The layout is responsive and uses scalable text so content can reflow as the viewport changes or text is enlarged. The site also respects reduced-motion preferences and supports forced-colour modes provided by the operating system or browser.
Before a formal AAA conformance claim
Automated checks can verify many technical issues, including colour contrast, but full WCAG Level AAA conformance requires evaluation of every applicable Level A, AA and AAA success criterion, including manual testing. A formal conformance claim should only be made after the final public site — including RE/MAX branding, forms, third-party tools and final content — has been tested.
